Our mission to "equip believers to be fruitful" influences how I teach and preach on Sundays. I desire to provide rich, in-depth teaching focused on God's Word, where people learn something of substance that helps them believe, mature and bear fruit for God. Although we are a church for anyone looking to discover Jesus or grow in Him, we unashamedly exist to equip believers to be fruitful. I seek to serve meat and not just milk. I want people to leave a Sunday service feeling challenged, equipped and encouraged to live for Jesus. Our church does a fantastic job welcoming new people, and our size (150-ish seat sanctuary) and comfortable setting foster people to become part of our family quickly. Although we are growing, we do not seek to be a seeker-sensitive church first; instead, we aim to be a church focused on equipping the believer. We do not seek to draw people through entertainment or performance but rather through authentic Holy Spirit-inspired teaching grounded in the truth of God's Word.
I so much believe in teaching the Word that I do it daily through a podcast called "Revering the Word," where I will teach every chapter of the Bible for the next three years. IN PERSON: You can give at Crossing Community Church during Sunday services by check or cash by simply putting your donation in the drop box by the sanctuary door. Envelopes are provided in the seat backs for those giving cash to allow us to add your donation to your statement for tax purposes.
All donations received by Crossing Community Church are considered tax-exempt.
You will receive a year-end statement of your giving for personal or business tax purposes.
