Our Values
To see the body of Christ awakened and engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission
Our Mission
A community devoted to blessing lives, awakening faith, and igniting purpose
Our Purpose
Our desire is that Crossing Community Church would be a place where you sense the presence of God – a place that is vibrant where people are seeking to be sincere in their relationship with God. We hope you sense our church as alive spiritually through the preaching, worship and relationships developed through our ministries. We believe that one of the most important ways to help others is to help people to be welcomed to a family of believers that will help them grow in the journey of faith and life. God has uniquely gifted each of us in a special way and when we each bring our unique gifts and talents, we can do something beautiful for God’s kingdom.  We hope that our church family becomes a place for people in our community to develop a new family.
Our Beliefs
About the Scriptures
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God and the authority for Christian faith and life.
About God
We believe in one God, the creator of all things who is eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
About Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the scriptures. Further, He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father. We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
About the Holy Spirit
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for forgiveness, justification and salvation for all who believe. Those who truly believe in such are born again, are indwelled by the Holy Spirit and thus are saved and promised eternal life.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells, guides, instructs, prunes and empowers the believer for Godly living and to carry out the Great Commission.
About Believer Baptism
We believe that believer baptism, although not a matter of salvation, was consistently demonstrated by Jesus and the Apostles and that believers today should be encouraged to prayerfully consider this act of honor and obedience to Jesus.
